PortfolioDream Insider Trading — Privacy Policy

PortfolioDream Insider Trading ("PortfolioDream," "we," "us," or "our") built the PortfolioDream app as a free service. This page informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app, and the choices you have associated with that data. By using PortfolioDream, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information — When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. If you sign in with email and password, we store your email address. We do not collect your real name unless you voluntarily provide it.
• Portfolio data — Stock tickers, share counts, cost basis, and cash positions you enter. Stored in our secure database (Supabase), associated with your account so you can access it across devices.
• Push notification token — If you grant notification permission, we store your Expo push token to deliver alerts. You can revoke this anytime in your device settings.
• Device and usage information — Device model, OS version, app version, IP address, and crash/error reports, used to diagnose problems and improve stability.
• Product analytics & usage events — In-app actions (screen views, opening intelligence sections, adding holdings or watchlist items) processed through our analytics provider (PostHog) to understand usage and improve the product. Analytics may include session recordings to diagnose usability issues; sensitive on-screen values are masked, and you may contact us to opt out.
• Marketing attribution — To measure advertising effectiveness (e.g., Apple Search Ads), we use a mobile-measurement provider (Singular) that processes limited device and install signals. We do not use this for third-party ad targeting.

We do NOT collect payment information, Social Security numbers, government IDs, precise location data, microphone or camera data, or contacts.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the app and its features
• To sync your portfolio data across your devices
• To send push notifications you have opted into
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• To understand usage patterns and improve the app
• To measure the effectiveness of our marketing
• To comply with legal obligations

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

PortfolioDream uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — Authentication and database storage.
• Sentry — Crash and error reporting (technical details only; holdings data is not included).
• PostHog — Product analytics and session diagnostics; in-app usage events, screen views, and device/technical info. Sensitive on-screen values are masked in any session recordings.
• Singular — Mobile attribution; limited device and install signals to measure advertising effectiveness.
• Expo / Expo Push Notifications — Notification delivery.
• Apple Sign-In — Optional authentication, governed by Apple's privacy practices.

We do not sell your personal information or use it to build cross-app advertising profiles.

Data Retention

We retain your account and portfolio data while your account is active. If you delete your account in-app, your data is deleted immediately. If you request deletion by email, we process it within 30 days. Deletion is permanent except where retention is required by law. Crash reports and technical logs are retained up to 90 days, then deleted.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access / Correction — View and edit your data anytime in the app.
• Deletion — Permanently delete your account and data in-app (Profile → Delete Account), or email us.
• Notifications — Disable anytime in iPhone Settings → Notifications.
• Withdraw consent — Delete the app and request account deletion.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents may request to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at portfolioDream@disclosureTechCapital.com.

EU / EEA and UK Residents (GDPR)

You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in a stable, secure app. Contact us at portfolioDream@disclosureTechCapital.com.

Children's Privacy

PortfolioDream is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
